Frequently Asked Questions

Tapzi is a smart restaurant digital menu and ordering solution by Asha IT Solutions that brings together contactless NFC table cards and dynamic scannable QR codes.

It connects dining tables directly to your Kitchen Display System (KDS), Counter POS, and Waiter floor staff, allowing customers to browse rich food photography and place orders directly from their smartphones without installing an app.

Guests tap their NFC-compatible smartphone (such as an iPhone or modern Android phone) against the table's wooden or acrylic standee.

The built-in NFC chip securely transmits the table-specific link to the phone, opening the restaurant's live digital menu in the phone's default browser (Safari, Chrome) in under 2 seconds.

Yes, absolutely. Every Tapzi table standee is designed as a dual-interface device featuring both an NFC touch point and a crisp, high-contrast QR code.

Guests without NFC enabled can simply open their standard phone camera or Google Lens to scan the QR code and view the exact same menu.

No. Zero app downloads are required.

Tapzi runs entirely inside standard mobile web browsers. Diners do not have to wait to download an app from the App Store or Play Store, nor do they need to create a new account or password before ordering food.

Yes. Tapzi is a full-featured dine-in ordering solution. Diners can add dishes to their cart, select spice levels or special cooking requests, and submit their order directly to the restaurant's operational stations.

Restaurants can choose between instant kitchen transmission or counter POS verification before orders reach the chef's KDS board.

Yes, instantly. Menu items, prices, high-res photos, descriptions, and dietary badges can be updated from your management dashboard.

Changes appear on customer smartphones immediately. You can also mark dishes as "Sold Out" (86) with one click when ingredients run low during a rush.

Tapzi accommodates your venue's preferred billing workflow, supporting Cash, Counter UPI QR scanning, Split Tabs, and digital payment gateway integration.

During checkout, diners can select a tip percentage or custom amount for their dedicated waiter. All tips are automatically logged into the assigned waiter's private ledger for transparent incentive tracking.
