1. Introduction & Scope

Welcome to Tapzi, a smart restaurant ordering and operational suite developed and maintained by Asha IT Solutions (UDYAM-HR-05-0050710). This Privacy Policy explains our stringent standards regarding the handling, storage, and protection of information when guests use our contactless ordering web application and when restaurant operators use our Counter POS, Kitchen KDS, and Waiter interfaces.

2. Information Handled

• Diner Order Data: Table Number, Guest Name (if provided), ordered dishes, item quantities, cooking notes/spice preferences, and bill settlement choice (Cash, UPI).
• Staff Operational Metrics: Cashier session IDs, floor waiter usernames, serving task assignments, and customer-allocated gratuity/tips.
• Security Tokens: Cryptographic table access tokens to ensure orders are initiated strictly from physical restaurant tables and to reject unauthorized off-site spam.
• Payment Information: We do NOT collect, transmit, or store customer payment card numbers, CVVs, or UPI MPINs. All payments are processed through certified UPI rails or on-premise cash registers.

3. Purpose of Processing

The collected data is strictly utilized for:

• Transmitting orders to the kitchen display board for preparation.
• Notifying the assigned floor waiter for food pickup and table delivery.
• Generating accurate itemized GST invoices and thermal POS receipts.
• Maintaining an auditable tip log for restaurant service captains.

4. No Data Resale or Third-Party Profiling

Asha IT Solutions does NOT sell, rent, monetize, or disclose diner order history or restaurant operational data to any third-party advertisers, data aggregators, or marketing agencies.

5. Security Safeguards

All communication is encrypted via TLS 1.3 over HTTPS. Administrative, cashier, kitchen, and waiter endpoints are guarded against search engine indexing and unauthorized access. Passwords are never exposed in client scripts or URLs.
